Depot Street Project

Dear Resident/Business Owner:

Town of Douglas is upgrading the water system on Depot Street. In order to complete the upgrade, contractor C. Naughton will be installing a temporary bypass water system on Depot Street, starting on June 9th.

On June 16th C. Naughton will begin converting residents to the temporary bypass water system and may need access inside residences to connect the water.

The entire water system upgrade project will continue to approximately August 4th, with normal working hours being from 7AM to 3:30/5:00PM.

Traffic patterns may/will change during this portion of the work. During pipe installation, sections of the roadway will be closed to thru traffic. Residents will have access to their homes at all times during construction, using a different direction.

Please be aware of all police details and directional signage. Caution and extreme vigilance through work zone areas is advised during all hours.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
