The Personnel Board believes that the better we staff our departments with quality employees, the higher quality of service our community receives.
The Personnel Board is an advisory board that makes recommendations to the Town Administrator relative to the adoption of rules and regulations and/or policies and procedures that are necessary for the proper administration of the Personnel Bylaw and the administration of the classification and compensation plan, subject to the approval of the Town Administrator, and final approval by the Board of Selectmen.
The Bylaw shall apply to all employees, except those positions filled by popular election, those under contract, those covered by a collective bargaining agreement, and those under the direction and control of the School Committee.
